NSIT on Expansion Path
NSIT Director Prof.(Dr.) Yogesh Singh has planned to expand and reform the institute. He intends to make a Zero-discharge Campus and its total intake will be increased to 1100 by acdemic year 2016.
Placement in a year 2015 got new high in NSIT.
Eight students of NSIT batch 2015 were offered annual package of Rs. 1.25 crore by Google. This academic year 180 Companies visited the NSIT Campus for placement, highest in the placement history of NSIT.

CodeInfinity - A Challenge to the Programmers
IEEE NSIT organized "CodeInfinity" on 4th & 5th February. The contest spanned a total of 26 hours and was hosted on HackerRank. Rishul Aggarwal and Anurag Singhal from NSIT secured second and third position respectively.
Hack4India - 48 Hour Hardware Hackathon
Hack4India was a hardware hackathon held by CEDT at NSIT, New Delhi, consisting of 48 hours of non-stop hardware hacking. It was a chance for many electronics enthusiasts showcase their ideas to the investor community.
