Biosketch

Dr. K.P.S Rana received M.Sc. degree in Physics (specialization in Electronics) from Meerut University, Meerut in 1989 and M.Tech. degree in Instrumentation from Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Delhi, India, in 1991. He received his Ph.D. degree on “Intelligent methods for complex vibration measurement and control” in 2011 from GGSIP University. He has served Indian Space Research Organization (ISRO) from 1993 - 2000 as Scientist in sensors division at Bangalore. Since August 2000 he has been with Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology (NSIT), Delhi University, New Delhi at the Department of Instrumentation and Engineering. At NSIT he has served as Assistant Professor from August 2000 – December 2005 and since January 2006 he is serving at NSIT as Associate Professor. His current research and teaching interest includes PC based measurements and control, real time systems, digital signal processing, virtual instrumentation and intelligent instrumentation and systems, sensor linearization. He has developed state-of-the-art laboratories (Instrumentation Lab and VICT) at NSIT. He is listed in Marquis Who’s Who in 2011. He is   Fellow of The Institution of Engineers (India) and Life Member of Indian Society for Technical Education (ISTE).
