Partying true blue engineer style, the students of NSIT indulged in a lot of fun.
Living up to the engineering party standards, the students of Netaji Subhas Institute of Technology kicktstarted their recent annual cultural fest, Moksha, with much gusto. The first day commenced with Soch- a street play competition organised by Ashwamedh, the dramatics society of NSIT.
Next in line was a performance by the funny guys from The Viral Fever (TVF). Vipul Goyal started the performance with his stand-up act. The former IIT Bombay graduate knew his audience well, and kept the crowd cheering for his engineer brand of jokes. From digs on creating your first resume to the lack of girl students in certain specific branches, he had the students of NSIT in splits. The acts by musicians Sachin Sanghvi, Jigar Saraiya, Divya Kumar and Priya Saraiya were a big hit.
The second day saw students taking to the ramp for Rouge, the fashion show of Moksha. Next they were seen putting their best foot forward for Oorja, the western dance competition. Over 12,000 spectators turned up for the pop night to witness international DJ Edward Maya set the stage on fire. The main attraction of day three was Avalanche, the Battle of Bands.
DJ Nucleya and DJ Aceaxe rocked the star night on the last day, bringing the festival to a great close.
